About this course

Course Duration: 25 minutes

In this DevSecOps course, we will explore some different Xray setups and walk through the installation process. We will also show you how to integrate other data sources in Xray and where system logs and backups are stored and used. This course provides DevSecOps essentials for you to understand the right ways to secure JFrog Xray and your DevOps environment.

Xray administration requires the right installation, setup, configurations, and integration with third-party tools to work well within an environment, and after taking this course you will be able to configure Xray to scan and monitor your platform for vulnerabilities and compliance. This course guides you through the steps of first installing JFrog Xray and then configuring it to work within your environment.

Guidance in this course includes integration of third-party data sources. Xray will work with many different data sources, but it must be configured to connect to them. We show you how to configure your Xray instance to work with these third-party resources and manage and maintain connections across your network environment.

After installation and setup of Xray, administrators must use best practices and procedures to maintain it. This course will help administrators understand how to maintain JFrog Xray and identify any issues that could cause errors. It will also take you through the steps to manage any issues and review current configurations so that the organization can fully leverage Xray’s scanning and notification functions.

In this course we will cover

  • Setting up Xray from start to finish
  • Guidance for administrators installing Xray
  • Data Source Integrations from third-party resources
  • Maintenance and management of Xray after installation and setup
